It’s official, well at least Facebook official, but nowadays that seems to meet the popular consensus of what constitutes reality. The lineup isn’t the best on the festival scene and perhaps not within the expectations of some, but I think the venue speaks volumes for the “viewer experience” that is the Gorge. Easy, no references implied. Sasquatch 2009 has an impressive line-up indeed.

Sasquatch! Music Festival 2009: First Confirmed Band for Sasquatch! 2009
So the “official” line-up was announced today with the likes of Kings of Leon, PB&J and Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs. Some disappointing notable absences from the line-up include, MGMT and Vampire Weekend, but I suppose you can’t have it all.
This year also has a dance tent and the return of the comedy tent. I’ve heard God’s Pottery is funny – oh wait, I mean NOT FUNNY AT ALL. I know I’ve heard of them somewhere before, but I can’t put my finger on it. Oh, wait, their the Christian acoustic group that was on Last Comic Standing and was not.
But who I’m really going to be eagerly anticipating is of course Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head:

The Saga Begins
OK, it begins. This may be an epic day in the life of Runke fandom, but that is to be determined. What shall the theme be… comedy, music, markcom, or all of the above? You can help decide. By you, I mean you Wes.
